We can inform you that the Pont-Aven departed Eemshaven for her sea trails on the 10th. The trials are were completed on the morning of the 16th February, when she berthed at the
Wagenborg Stevedoring Eemshaven, at 0620.

She will remain in Eemshaven for two weeks before being handed over to Brittany Ferries.

The Pont-Aven arrived into Eemshaven at 0800 on 11th February at the
Wagenborg Stevedoring berth, departing for further trails later that day.

Now the sea trials are over, and once the fitting out have been completed, the Pont-Aven will set sail to Roscoff. She is scheduled to arrive on the morning of the 1st March 2004.

Roscoff will, therefore, be the Pont-Aven's first 'official' port of call having been handed over to Brittany Ferries. It is also planned that their will be a photograph taken of the Pont-Aven with the Mont St Michel & Bretagne whilst en route (TBC).

At the present time no 'ramp' trials are planned for either Cork nor Santander. Pont-Aven will berth stern first in Plymouth & Cork, and bow first at Santander and Roscoff.
